***Gorgeous Brocade with Lurex*** No Reserve 1 Meter or 1 Yard (40 inches) This ivory & gold Valrose brocade fabric was difficult to find. I imported it from England, but it is made in Japan. It is a medium weight woven fabric with a design outlined in Gold Lurex thread. This material glitters in the light & has a slight textured effect. It would be perfect for a ballet bodice. I do not have more ivory/gold available. This is 1 meter of fabric which is a tiny bit more than a yard. The fabric width is 45 inches. This amount of fabric could be used to create a long-line ballet bodice costume in small adult, as pictured. Steam iron with CAUTION before use. If you want to pre-wash it you may do so at 30 degrees C or 86 degrees F. Do not use any chemicals or tumble-dry in order to preserve the Lurex. Test wash before pre-washing. This fabric must be dry cleaned, because of the Lurex. It may be beneficial to surge the material at both ends before washing. This may prevent fraying.
