Description
This is a lot of 9 pieces of fabric purchased in Japan. I got them at an estate sale. There is a total of 11 yards plus a bit. They are not labeled for content but according to my burn tests, there is a variety of silk, silk blend, and satin - jacquard and brocade. Some are reversible. I tried to notice any flaws but it is a lot of yardage so I may have missed something small. Basically a nice lot, with some imperfections. 1. Green and gold 72" long x 29" wide ***one corner has a piece cut out that is 1" x 8" 2. True red with multicolor medallions 36" long x 35" wide ***a corner is cut out 1.5" x 4" 3. Black & gold dragon pattern 46" long x 28" wide 4. Pink with red, yellow, and blue flowers on branches (cherry blossoms?) 96" long x 29" wide 5. Dark red with multi color medallions 33.5" long x 35" wide This one has numerous flaws - there are multiple tiny runs in the fabric, one blackish spot, and the surface of the front of the fabric is roughed up in a line across the whole piece - see photos for the type of flaw. It might still be useful for small pieces. 6. White and yellow 38" long x 36" wide. I notice two very small spots on this piece - see photo 7. Light blue-gray with bamboo pattern 40" long x 36" wide 8. Maroon (burgundy?) with black and gold, cherry blossoms 40" long x 29" wide ***missing a corner 6" x 6". This piece has a single run across the fabric - see photos 9. blue-gray & tan 18" long x 56" wide Measurements are approximate. Feel free to ask questions.
