***Gorgeous Brocade with Lurex*** 3.5 Yards or 3.15 Meters PLEASE READ This lilac & gold unusual brocade fabric was difficult to find. As best as I can tell this is Valrose & made in Japan. It is a medium weight woven fabric with a design outlined in Gold Lurex thread. This glitters in the light & has a slight textured effect. It would be perfect for a ballet bodice & plate. All of my material like this was imported from England. The lighting is really poor in the photos, so I have included a better quality photo of Luguna color brocade. I do not have any of the Laguna available, but you can see the pattern better. Steam iron with CAUTION before use. If you want to pre-wash it you may do so at 30 degrees C or 86 degrees F. Do not use any chemicals or tumble-dry in order to preserve the Lurex. Test wash before pre-washing. This fabric must be dry cleaned, because of the Lurex. It may be beneficial to surge the material at both ends before washing. This may prevent fraying. You may choose to use a serger if you are sewing a ballet costume bodices. This fabric is about 124 inches long or 3.4 Yards. Its about 3.15 meters. It is new fabric that I purchased, but there is a cut in it. The cut is located about 34 inches inches in length & it goes into the width about 9 inches. The width of the brocade is 45 inches with the exception of that 9 inch cut. I have discounted the price to reflect this defect. This is not available BTY. I ship from Washington State. I try to ship within 2 business days. Thank you for looking!
