You are bidding on vintage 26" wide handwoven silk and cotton ikat brocade Laotian hill tribe fabric. We are selling it by the yard from a roll. The quantity number shown is the current number of yards on the roll. Multiple yard orders will be sent as one piece. That is, if you order "5" you will receive a five yard piece. If you order "1" you will receive a one yard piece. 25 years ago we found this fantastic design in a fabric store in Khon Kaen in Northeast Thailand (Isan). We have been buying fabrics in Thailand for years and this is the only fabric of this type we ever come across. It's woven horizontally and features a wide stripe of dark red ikat with black, white, and yellow delights and a wide stripe of natural indigo ikat with white details. Between those areas are thin bands of black, white, and yellow interspersed with bands of silk brocade birds in green, white, yellow, red, and gold. This would make beautiful pillow covers or other home dec, clothing, accessories, or be great for a quilting or art-to-wear projects.
